For many years, I've been passionate about the arts from theatre to film and television and have expressed it throughout my education, work, personal and social life. My particular passion for film began when watching the original Star Wars trilogy and others such as Ratatouille (2007) inspired me to go academic and to utilise my knowledge and skills further; most recently acquiring an MA in Film & Television: Research and Production at the University of Birmingham.
Videos are about telling a story and for me, they become a form of expression, a source that creates strong emotion and a tool that can inspire people in all walks of life.
On the contrary, I am passionate about raising autism awareness having been diagnosed with Asperger's from the age of 3. Being autistic has allowed me to perceive the world in a unique way and, in many respects by 'using' it, has helped me comprehend my passions and utilise the skills that I have been given from autism to the best of my ability.
I live with my wonderful wife Emily, a primary school teacher, and we both share a passion for creative arts. (Although she is more the painting and drawing type).
On this website by use of video production and creative writing, you can discover the world of film and television from inside the mind of an Aspie as well as a general outlook from an autistic perspective.
If you'd like to know more about me, please see my video portfolio.
Enjoy and I look forward to hearing from you.
